Rome is a large and ancient city, full of history, with many things to see and experiences to enjoy. The Must See list is really long and thinking that you can visit it only on foot is too tiring and not very practical.
An ecological and alternative method? The Segway! This is an electric scooter, a new means of self-balancing transport on two wheels for one person, with a handlebar. Don’t worry: it is easy to drive and does not reach high speeds.
The Segway lets you move quickly, autonomously and without polluting: an unusual and pleasant way of visiting a large city like Tome and stopping whenever you like to take photos!
After becoming familiar with the means, the two and a half hour tour on the Segway starts along a fine route to discover the city: departure from Piazza di Spagna and tis marvellous Steps to reach one of the best loved and best known symbols of Rome, the Trevi Fountain! After throwing in a coin and the routine photo, the tour continues towards Piazza Venezia, through the Fori Imperiali to reach the symbol of the eternal city; the beautiful ancient Coliseum!
The plunge into history continues with a visit to the Circo Massimo and the Bocca della Verità, then reaching the Piazza del Campidoglio and being fascinated by the splendid view over the Roman Forum offered by the square designed by Michelangelo.
After monuments and history, the time comes for a “shopping stop” in Via del Corso to then resume the tour via Piazza San Silvestro and returning to Piazza di Spagna.
Your safety is fundamental: as well as being instructed on how to ride the Segway, you will also be give a helmet and raincoat in case of rain.
