In the heart of splendid Trentino, along the road linking Trent and Riva del Garda, the northern tip of Lake Garda, there is the Valley of Lakes, a picturesque valley surrounded by ancient castles and pretty little lakes. Santa Massenza, a village linked with the ancient wine-making and distilling traditions is in this paradise.
Santa Massenza has always been the village of grappa. At the end of the 1980s. the art of distillation was so common that there were 13 distilleries in the small village.
The owner of this one in particular, decided in the 1970s to join forces with other passionate colleagues and transformed his production into one of excellence, obtaining with his grappa great success in the food and wine sector.
The distillery in question is a small artisan family-run farm which has been owned by four generations of the same family.
It will be interesting to discover the distillery and understand how it works. The owners will also guide you in tasting their products to appreciate their taste and aromas.
